Wood chips in the demo garden

Given our Washington State University heritage, it is not surprising that a major focus of the Extension Master Gardener Program is education. We host ‘living classrooms’ in our Demonstration Gardens; come and present to you through our Speakers Bureau; teach our children about horticulture through our Youth Gardening Programs. We also host a variety of conferences where you can advance your gardening knowledge on a wide variety of topics.

Research based information for today’s gardening challenges

Our changing climate requires that Extension Master Gardeners stay abreast of cutting-edge, research-based gardening practices so we can give unbiased, valuable advice in our communities. One way to do this is through hosting a gardening conference. We bring together top speakers around a key gardening theme and deliver that information to you, free of charge, through the generosity of sponsors and donors.
Check out what we have coming your way!
